Edgar van Baale

Edgar van Baale was the son of CW van Baale, former Theatre Chair at
Chicago Academy for the Arts, and Christa van Baale, freelance stage manager and publicist. He started attending production meetings and rehearsals with his mom when he was only 2.5 months old and was frequently seen around the Greenhouse Theater Center and A Red Orchid Theatre. Edgar passed in May the day after he turned 16 months old. His 9 month battle with a brain tumor has inspired multiple written and performed pieces across the country. |
