John Walski

Picture
December 16, 1964 – January 3, 2015

While living in Abrams, WI, John was involved in the Machickanee Players where he developed his passion for acting. His acting career included, spending a couple of seasons with a major LORT theater, touring with some regional theaters for a couple years, as well as, touring nationally, regionally and locally. He settled in Milwaukee and later called Chicago his home. There, John was an ensemble member at Promethean Theatre Ensemble and has worked with Vitalist, Rasaka Theatre, Polarity Ensemble, Citadel, Bailiwick, Rhino Festival and others. John spent several years involved with the Bristol Renaissance Fair where everyone grew to love his character, Ha'Penny. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Linda Walski. Survivors are his one brother, Gary Walski, San Antonio, TX; his two sisters, Sue (Daryl) Konitzer, Oconto Falls; Jean (Gary) Thiry, Green Bay; his very special nephew and nieces, Ryan and Trisha; Kassie and Kelly; Taylor, eight great nephews and nieces; and his best friend, Lisa Martinez.
