Trinity Murdock
November 23, 1973 – August 27, 2014
Trinity was named after Trinity United Church of Christ located at 95th & Parnell Street in Chicago. He graduated Luther South High School in 1990, and loved his Mt. Eagle Church family where he served as a member of the Eaglelites Children's Choir, and was instrumental in teaching and directing the youth and adult choir. Trinity attended Morehouse College and graduated in 1997 with a degree in Child Development, and for 13 years was a third grade teacher at Dubois Elementary School and a second grade teacher at Earle Elementary School. Trinity made his acting debut in 2008 in the ETA production “Get Ready.” He later joined the Black Ensemble under the direction of Jackie Taylor where he performed in numerous productions. Recently, Trinity became a member of the Actors Guild and was nominated by the Black Theater Alliance Award to receive a merit award. He starred in several commercials, movies, and television series, including “Chicago PD.” He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Earl and Lena Murdock; three sisters, Clara, Christine, and Beatrice; three brothers, Maurice, Eugene, and Lonnie. He leaves cherished memories with his loving aunt, Allison Marie Fairley (Henry), two uncles, Lawrence Stewart, William (Emma) Stewart, two brothers, Albert (Loretta) Murdock, Calvin Murdock, two sisters, Delores Meyen, and Reola Murdock, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of friends and his loyal dog, Papi Chulo. |
