Peter (Pete) siragusa
Peter (“Pete”) Siragusa passed away on Oct 11, 2022 at Adventist Hospital in Los Angeles, CA of sudden illness.
Pete began his acting career at Boston College, while pursuing an English major - later relocating to Chicago to enter the theater scene. (Ever proud of his education, Pete’s BC class ring can be seen in the movie “The Big Lebowski”). He went on to be a prolific character actor for the entirety of his adult life, performing across the country on stage, screen and radio. Some of his notable roles are over 5,000 performances of the long-running Chicago hit “Shear Madness” and a recurring role on the show Frasier. When not busy in one of his many acting roles, Pete remodeled homes in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Port Hueneme, installing more than plenty of outlets and making houses into homes. Later in life, he became a drug and alcohol counselor with the Salvation Army helping men regain control of their lives. He acquired several mantras in relation to this work, including QTIP: Quit Taking It Personally. He was often at his happiest having a glass of lemonade while still filthy after having crawled under a house to complete a task. He loved his wife, his family and friends on both coasts and all the places in between. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to any addiction center in Pete’s name, to honor his commitment to helping others battle addiction. Pete was born in Boston MA to Peter and Gloria Siragusa of Boston, MA, and is survived by his siblings of Brighton MA, his wife Pam of Los Angeles CA, his two sons Cody and Jordan, his daughter-in-law Maia, granddaughter Lula and his nieces and nephews.
