Paul Sullenger was born on December 26, 1967 in Dayton, OH to Don Sullenger, PhD and the late Judith (Deck) Sullenger. Paul graduated from Centerville High School in 1986 and earned his degree in Musical Theater from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Paul had an extensive career in the preforming arts as a singer, dancer and actor for numerous theaters and companies such as Disney, Tokyo and Cunard cruise lines. He belonged to the Actors Equity, loved his musical career in Chicago. He performed many times at the Drury Lane Oakbrook. Sullenger worked as an event planner, and on occasions performed commissions for Wolf Gang Puck and Oprah. Paul enjoyed traveling the world, swimming, skating and playing euchre with Chicago friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith. Paul is survived by his father, Don; brothers, Mark (Jenita) Sullenger and Dr. Bruce (Dr. Rachel Rempel) Sullenger; nieces and nephew, Camilla, James, Rebecca, and Cynthia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Paul’s Chicago friends and family who brought him joy through their Facebook posts for the past 6 years following his traumatic brain injury as well as the staff at Woodland Country Manor, especially Donna and Lori for all the wonderful care they gave to Paul. |
