Marshall Bean (1955 - 2022)
Marshall Bean was a longtime Chicago theater & film actor, as well as a talented vocalist, drummer and voiceover artist. Marshall studied acting alongside Chicago Actors Studio artistic director Edward Dennis Fogell at the Ted Liss School for the Performing Arts from 1989-1992. Once CAS was opened, Marshall was a constant presence at classes, shows and special events, regaling everyone with stories about his exploits in the performing arts, sharing his unique perspective on the craft of acting, and taking to the stage to help bring several CAS productions to life, most notably as Scrooge in Mary Reynard Liss’ production of “A Christmas Carol”. Marshall was a dedicated member of the SAG-AFTRA Radio Players, and a frequent performer in their many productions. Marshall was an avid student of Metaphysics and Elemental Primal Being for over 36 yrs.
