Jonathan Nichols

Died: April 2, 2019 Jonathan Nichols was an actor, director and Outreach Coordinator for ShawChicago, where he started performing in 2011 as Nicola in Arms and the Man. He went on to appear in The Devil’s Disciple, Heartbreak House, You Never Can Tell, Saint Joan, The Millionairess, Major Barbara, The Importance of Being Earnest, and many ShawChicago outreach performances. He also worked with many other theaters in the Chicago community, including Remy Bumppo Theatre, Silk Road Rising, First Folio Theatre, Shakespeare on the Green (Lake Forest), The Shakespeare Project of Chicago, and Oak Park Theatre Festival Theatre. He also performed in Door County, WI with Door County Shakespeare and toured nationally as an actor and assistant director in the courtroom drama Defamation. He is survived by his wife Daniela Schiazza and his daughter. |
