Glenne Headly
Glenne Headly was an Emmy-nominated actress, an originating member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and worked with David Mamet’s St. Nicholas Theatre Company. At Steppenwolf some acclaimed roles included Goodnight Gracie, Mother Courage, Born Yesterday, Coyote Ugly, Balm in Gilead, Curse of the Starving Class. She received 4 Joseph Jefferson Awards. Other stage credits include Extremities with Susan Sarandon & Kevin Kline, Arms & The Man, with Raul Julia, and Larry David’s Fish in the Dark. She was Emmy nominated for Lonesome Dove before costarring alongside Michael Caine and Steve Martin in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Warren Beatty in Dick Tracy. Other credits include Mr. Holland’s Opus, Mortal Thoughts, 2 Days in the Valley and Monk. She received critical praise for her recent role in HBO’s The Night Of. Headly is survived by her husband Byron McCulloch and son Stirling.
