Freeman Coffey
Freeman Coffey first appeared at the Goodman Theatre in By the Music of the Spheres during the 2002/2003 Season. Other Goodman credits include Let Me Live, which won the Jeff Award for Best Ensemble. Other stage credits: The Sunset Limited (Steppenwolf); Hambone (Victory Gardens); East Texas Hot Links, Doolisters Blues and Sty of the Blind Pig (Onyx Theatre); Pill Hill, Home and Death of the Black Jesus (Chicago Theatre Co.); Thunder Knocking at the Door (Northlight Theatre); Stones and Bones (Strawdog); A Raisin in the Sun (Hidden Stages); Blakk Love (Preston Bradley Center) and as Paul Robeson in Paul Robeson All American (Indiana Rep).
He has appeared on Early Edition and in the motion pictures, Hardball, Home Alone 3, Uncle Nino, Children on Their Birthdays and An Assignment. Freeman has been heard on many local radio commercials, Jewel-Osco, Famous Amos Cookies and television commercials, like McDonalds. |
