Dawn Mora
A notably beautiful and talented woman with hundreds of important credits to her name, Dawn Mora grew up in Palm Springs, California, with her mother “Honey,” a teacher at Cahuilla Elementary School, and brother, artist Bill Arms. She graduated from Palm Springs High School and from San Diego State with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Theatre.
Her professional acting credits include “Island of the Blue Dolphin” for Universal Studios and “Play it Again Sam” for the San Diego Shakespeare Festival. She married Attorney Ron Mora in 1971 and moved to Chicago where she began teaching at Northwestern University in 1983. She was recently honored with the status of Professor Emeritus for her prized and distinguished service. She is survived by her dearly loved son Abraham Mora, grandson Alex Mora, granddaughter Ari Mora, brother William (Bill Daniels) Arms, nephew Marc Segal, stepson Peter Mora, stepdaughter Katherine Mora and her beloved puppy Coco. |
