Alice Carol Perry

Alice Carol Perry was a wife, mother, artist, activist and entrepreneur. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, actor Ernest Perry, Jr.; daughters Alison Kimbrough Perry, Mary Hester Johnson (Darrell) and Jaisy Redmond Geans. Alice was a devout Christian, she saw potential in everything and everyone, and she will be remembered for her open heart and the door that was never closed to someone needing a meal or a place to stay. Many in her extended family (and that meant everyone who called her or Ernest friend) remember holidays around the dining room table with gratitude. Countless children were the beneficiaries of her fierce work on local school boards and in the community.
