DONALD PATRICK HALL (1957-2026)

Picture
Actor and founding member of Americana Theatre, Donald Patrick Hall, passed away at his home in Waukegan on April 30 at the age of 69. Throughout his life, Donald enjoyed the arts, particularly theatre. Not only was he dedicated as an actor, but also as an artist and a caregiver for adults with mental disability. His many talents led him in many directions — actor, cartoonist, woodcarver, standup comedian, sculptor of mobiles, and much more.

Donald was born on April 20, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan to Dean and Mary Ann Hall. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Wendy O. Hall; sons — John Spencer Hall, Samuel Dean Hall, and Benjamin Taylor Hall; siblings — John Michael Hall, Maryjane Hall, Stephen Daniel Hall, Kathleen Theresa Hall, and Patricia Ann Hall Hurley. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Dean Darrow & Mary Ann Hall, as well as his brother, Thomas Allen Hall.
