Sorensen is remembered as an avid hockey player for the Golden Eagles men’s hockey team as well as a kind and generous colleague. Friend and colleague Michael Greco shared this memory of Sorensen on Facebook: "Last year, I decided to get back into theatre for the first time in ten years. I remember walking into the basement of a church for our first read thru. Nervous and not knowing anyone at all, Rob Sorensen was the immediate light in the room to make me feel welcome. He was always one of the first people I would go to because he was friendly, kind, compassionate, and caring. He loved his art, and he loved his people. He is someone that will always be a role model to me, and an amazing friend." |
