Kevin Costello (1983-2024)
Kevin Matthew Costello beloved member of the Chicago area and Philadelphia theater communities, died suddenly in Chicago in a traffic accident.
Initially, Costello landed small parts in commercials and television, including “Boardwalk Empire”. Branching out to films and other performing venues, he was a “Special Guest” in Anime 2016, the handsomest vampire in an Indy film, and performed at several MAGFest readings. Costello began his time in acting in numerous stage productions in the Philadelphia area, where he attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His work in computer technology brought him to Chicago, where he was the Senior Clinical and Regulatory Consultant for Astrix, and also he met the love of his life, Erin Scully. His smile was infectious, and his distinctive laugh heralded that the fun was about to begin. He never took himself too seriously and made life-long friends in whatever social or business setting he was in. A native of Long Island NY, Costello graduated from Bay Shore High School in 2001, going on to attend the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts for undergrad, and then garnering a BS in Organizational Behavior Studies from Northwestern University. Kevin was a devoted son to his mother, Pamela Danaher and a loyal and supportive friend to his best buddy, brother Chris. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Bianca, Ava, and Nathan Costello, his Danaher aunts and uncles, his slew of cousins who were more like siblings, and many, many friends. |
